~Our Faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ~

Why I'm blogging...

Welcome to our lives, our farm, and our family. Here is were we give you a view into our daily walk. I pray that it might encourage you while giving you a real life glance deeper into our lives. May we honor the Lord in all we do and say. My greatest hope is that anything you admire within our family points you right back to the Lord Jesus Christ and our love for HIM.

Trials, Tribulations, and Praises all rolled together!

This has been a week to remember…a week to be thankful for…a week to praise the Lord for HIS goodness. He’s provided safety to our family, reminding us once again that HE is in control and loves us!!
On Saturday morning our boys were in a 4 wheeler accident. While riding two separate vehicles they ran into each other. They both were thrown off but praise be to God only Joe was mildly injured. He cut his knee pretty deeply, although a small hole. Now we just watch for infection. Josh was not hurt at all. Bryan our neighbor, also thrown off, is bruised, but otherwise fine. Josh said “I remember that mom said people are killed on these all the time”. I hope that a lesson was learned from this experience…
Next on Saturday evening we got a call from my sister in law saying that our Grandma couldn't be located. She’d been going to meet friends for the weekend, but never arrived. The police were notified and a ‘Silver Alert’ was issued.
After 26 hours missing, she was located in Enid OK. A few days later the story of her journey was shared with us. We are still praising God for HIS protection. She had gotten lost while driving and wrecked her car about 7 PM. She hydroplaned into a field of abandoned cars and junk. She left her car, crawling to the road only to not be able to locate it. She then couldn't find her car and ended up spending the night in an abandoned car~ wet, muddy, and cold. The next morning she spotted her car and started to crawl back to it. Finally, a farmer came to check his cows and heard her yelling for help. An ambulance was called and she was taken to an area hospital where her son later picked her up from. The car was totaled and she is sore and bruised, but we all know it could have been MUCH WORSE!!
