~~Hearing Miss M say Miss K is the biggest sister, Miss A is the littlest, and I'm the meatiest (medium size)sister
~~My dear, not quite two year old yelling “Not Funny Miss M” as her big sister sings goofy songs to her. ((does she even know what funny is??))
~~Leaving my teen in the car at Walmart to babysit the little girls while I quickly ran in, coming back to find him asleep, not being able to wake him and having to call 911 to come get him and the other children out of the locked car. ((He woke just as the fire department got to the parking lot and we cancelled the call…whew!))
~~Finding out my child is covered in poison ivy because he removed his shirt, reenacted the scene in “The Last of the Mohicans” where the Indian runs thru the woods, jumps the stream bare chested…ahh the joys of boyhood.
~~Being told “When I grow up I want to be a sewer worker. Then nobody will tell me what to do cause they won’t want to come down there with me.”
~~Remembering years ago when my very young child jumped out of the car and started scolding the man in the next car for littering ”The Bible says ‘Thou shalt not litter’, so pick that up”.
~~Bring a new baby home only to have the sibling ask…”Does he have two arms?”
~~Exclaiming at the dinner table “Look…there’s a mouse!” ”Where?” ”Right there on the mustard bottle” ”I don’t see it?!?” ”Ahh, right beside the www.” Needless to say it was a picture of a ‘computer’ mouse.
