Katherine's Graduation 2021

 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭

She is our 4th child and second daughter of nine children. She has always tried to be an encourager to her 4 younger sisters and a second mother to her younger brother. Some interesting facts about Katherine are:

• She is our first child born at home.

• She is our first baby born after our reversal.

• She plays piano, guitar, and violin.

• She has become a professional photographer and has even started a quickly growing and thriving business in that profession.

• She loves to play volleyball.

• She is a loving sister to her brothers and sisters.

• She has become a good friend to her mother.

• After a long day, she almost always seeks me out to give me a hug before I go to bed.

Around 2016, after she had become a Christian, I had the privilege to baptize her my sister in Christ at our church. Her life verse is:

Katherine is a goal setter! Once she sets a goal, she is diligent to work hard to reach it. Often times this involves sacrificing time with friends and other social activities that she could have let distract her. God has used her character of diligence to encourage others to work hard to reach their goals also.

Our prayer is for God to continue to grow her in His word and spirit. We desire for her life to be a bold testimony in this world for Jesus. (Diploma address written by her daddy)

This brings my years of homeschooling to one less child. Katherine has been a joy to raise. She is a blessing to both her dad and me. As we prepared for her graduation with our Homeschool group today, we were reminded how hard she has worked to accomplish her dreams. This ceremony was a time for our family to join together and honor our girl for all her hard work. We are grateful to the many family and friends that sent cards and those that attended the ceremony.
